NECH Proud to Sponsor Max Bowman at ROCFC
Campbelltown, SA - 8 September 2026
North Eastern Community Hospital is proud to support NECH Stores team member Max Bowman through Player Sponsorship with the Rostrevor Old Collegians’ Football Club (ROCFC) for the 2026 season.
Max is a valued member of our Stores department and, outside of work he is studying Psychology at university as well as pulling on the boots for ROCFC. We’re delighted to support Max in his ongoing dedication to footy and staying connected with his school club and community sport. As a community hospital we like to support our staff to continue to be passionate about local sport whilst strengthening our connection with our local community.
ROCFC has been part of the South Australian community football landscape since 1974 and continues to provide opportunities for players across its men’s teams and the Loreto Old Scholars Association (LOSA) women’s team. In 2026, the Club expects to field six teams with more than 150 players.
Community sport plays an important role in bringing people together, and clubs like ROCFC rely on the support of sponsors to continue providing a safe, enjoyable and competitive environment for their players and supporters. On 1 August, ROCFC hosted its 2026 Sponsors Day and President’s Lunch to recognise the many sponsors, life members and supporters who contribute to the Club behind the scenes. Guests also heard from speakers Greg Phillips, David Arnfield and Paul Belton, who shared stories and memories from their involvement in football over the years. The day was made even more enjoyable with a win on the field for ROCFC.
NECH Care and Quality Manager Sarah Dobrota attended the event on behalf of the Hospital, providing an opportunity to celebrate Max’s contribution to the Club and connect with others who support the local football community.
For NECH, sponsoring Max is particularly meaningful because it allows us to support one of our own beyond the workplace while contributing to a local club that is an important part of the community we serve.
The team finished fifth on the ladder, qualifying for the finals with eight wins and eight losses. Although the team’s season came to an end following a loss in the elimination final, we congratulate Max and everyone at ROCFC on their 2026 campaign and wish them all the best for next season.
